Mountains – The Taurus range of mountains provide a great backdrop for the region and can been seen from all areas. One of the reasons the climate is so great in this area all year round is the protection that this mountain range offers from the harsher weather of Central Anatolia.

Museum – Antalya boasts one of the finest museums with 1000's of artifacts from many of the great civilizations on display.

Nuts – Almond, Chestnuts, Hazelnuts, Pistachio, Walnuts – all kinds of nuts are grown here in Turkey. Another one of Turkey’s tasty treats!

Options – The options for things to see and do and properties to buy are simply endless in the Antalya region.

Olympos – The National Park provides a great day out, home to the hippy lifestyle of living in tree houses and great remains of ancient Olympos.

Pamukkale – Translated - Cotton Castle - and this is certainly what they appear to be, floating on the horizon. Calcium deposits left by thermal springs that flow along the hillside have over millions of years formed snow white terraces. Used by the Romans as a Spa Centre & still in use today.

Perge – An important city of ancient Pamphylia, the excavated remains of Perge lie just 18km from Antalya and give a real taste of life from the Roman times, with marble streets running past the Roman baths and amphi theatre you can truely imagine how the city would once have been.

Quad Biking – Fun and adventure to be had by all on this day out. Quad biking can be found throughout the Antalya region. Be prepared to get wet, muddy and have a lot of laughs.

Rafting – Wet & wild action and adventure whilst rafting through the beautiful K??pr?ºl?º Canyon National Park. Fun to be had by all.

Skiing - Believe it or not skiing can be found only 45 mins from Antalya in Saklikent. In the months of March and April you can spend the mornings skiing and in the afternoon relax on the beach.

Shopping – There are so many bargains to be had here in Turkey, from fruit to olives, jewellery to leather – the aim of the game is to barter and shop around.

Tennis – Although not many public courts available virtually all of the larger hotels have courts with floodlighting.

Termessos – Although access to this ancient site requires a 4x4 vehicle it is well worth the journey for those with an interest in history. So inaccessable and well defended that even Alexander the Great passed it by!

Trams – Trams can be found in Antalya city centre providing a quick service through the city traffic from I?æiklar to Konyalti, adding more charm and character to this fascinating city.

Ulupinar – A natural environment to relax in with platformed restaurants staggered over the flowing waters from mountain rivers. Trout farms provide the freshest fish at great prices, a cool retreat in the hot summer months.

Value – Turkey provides excellent value for money, from Real Estate to general costs of living which are so much lower than the rest of Europe.

Waterfalls – Kursunlu (Timotei falls) is just 15 minutes from Antalya and Manavgat just 10 minutes from Side, beautiful natural delights.

Watersports – A whole range available on most beaches including parasail??ng to kayaking.

Xanthos – Situated west of Kemer past the tiny resort of Kalkan the capital of the Lycian civilization is easily accessible via the coastal road from Kemer or via the scenic mountain road. One of the most attractive sites, it is definately worth a special visit.

YTL – Yeni T?ºrk Lira (New Turkish Lire). The currency was devalued early in 2005 enabling both the currency and the economy to retain a much more stable position. The currency is also much easier to use with the loss of the zeros which in the past made it a real task for visitors to get used to.

Zero - There are absolutely ‘0’ reasons why Turkey should not be your first choice of destination to purchase property overseas and so many more reasons why you should!!
